Summary of Project Status:
Over the last month Robert Mutombo, the library manager visited each library every week to ensure progress was going smoothly.
Books that are not in use at Meheba Friendly Library have been transferred to the smaller libraries.
One box of books from the US has been brought to Meheba by the COC. Although there was a delay of other boxes due to Post Office problems, they should be arriving over the next two months.
English classes continued in Block G for beginners on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Also, the librarian has added a second class for advanced students on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
Also, storytelling has continued in Block F and English classes continue in Block C.
Questions and answer games have begun again in Block G, Block D and MFL.
At Meheba Friendly Library there have been a lot of requests for newspapers and magazines. While the Project Manager is trying to address this need, the librarian has proposed a current events group. Two teachers at the high school have agreed to supervise this group and we are waiting on a response from the headmaster.
Indicators and Statistics:
The statistics are not available at this time as the Project Manger was unable to acquire reports from all librarians.
